Technology Systems 5313 Students will learn to visualize, plan and figure costs for producing projects of their choice. Students will construct these projects using various machine tools and power tools learned during the course of the class.

Engineering Graphics 5323 Students will learn to draft detailed working drawings of machinery and mechanical devises indicating dimensions and tolerances, fasteners, joining requirements, and other engineering data. Students will use both the drafting board and the computer in producing these drawings.

Welding I is a two hour course in which the students will learn to weld with both Oxyacetlene and Arc. Safety will be emphasized and use of the cutting torch will be mastered. The students will use the lab manual in class and have it for their personal property at the end of the school year.

Welding II is a follow up to Welding I. It is a two hour course and will include Blue Print Reading, Pipe Welding, and Template Development for the Pipe Trades. The class is a Dual Credit Class in cooperation with Del Mar College. Upon satisfactory completion of Welding I and II, the student will earn 12 hours credit toward Welding Certification.
