Welder Elementary provides a nurturing environment where each child enjoys learning and is challenged to reach his/her potential. At Welder Elementary EVERY CHILD IS A TREASURE. We have a challenging year ahead of us, but by working together we will have a successful one.
Our new school day hours for 2010-2011 are 8:00AM to 3:00PM. Bus students have the option of choosing a 3:00PM or 3:45PM bus route home. Those students staying until 3:45PM will be supervised in the cafeteria by our paraprofessionals until loading time. Sinton ISD will be operating a Latchkey program at the Dave Odem Learning Center for students in grades K-5 beginning on Monday, August 23, 2010. Registration is occurring at both Welder and Sinton Elementary beginning August 17th, 2010. Weekly costs will run $20 per week for families who do not qualify for the National School Breakfast/Lunch Program with a cap of $40 per family. Families who qualify for the National School Breakfast/Lunch Program will be charged $10 per week with a $20 family cap. Latchkey will operate from 3pm to 5:45 pm Monday-Thursday and from 3pm to 5:00 pm on Fridays. For more information call 364-6600.
